Great North Counseling Services serves North Carolina and Minnesota clients statewide. We are OUT OF NETWORK for ALL plans in the state of NORTH CAROLINA. Should this change, this will be updated.
Please note the costs below apply to private pay clients in North Carolina clients and for current Minnesota clients. Please see the plans that we are IN-NETWORK for in Minnesota below.
Mental Health/Dual Diagnosis 2025
Diagnostic Assessment (MN)/Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation (NC) (Initial Intake Assessment) (90791): $325
Individual/Family Psychotherapy 53-60 minutes: $225
Individual/Family Psychotherapy 38-52 minutes: $195
Individual/Family Psychotherapy 16-37 minutes: $175

Individual/Family Psychotherapy 90 minutes ($235 for 90837; and $230 for 99355 or 99354): $465

We are in-network providers for Sanford Health Plan (non employee plans), Aetna and BCBS for Chemical Dependency services.
We DO accept SELF-PAY for any and all services listed. Self-pay services may give added privacy to some individuals who do not have sufficient insurance coverage or choose to not use their insurance cover.
We are an affiliated EAP provider for certain networks; please inquire.
Sports, performance and Life Coaching $125/hr PRIVATE Pay ONLY (these are non billable services). Rates to increase in 2026 to $150.
PEER CONSULTATION $125/hr PRIVATE Pay ONLY (these are non billable services). Rates to increase in 2026 to $150.
